AmeriGas’s new agreement sets the fix-priced margin at $1.08 per gallon, effective October 1, 2026, for a term of one year. 

 

Your price per gallon will be calculated as AmeriGas Propane Supply Index* + KHF Fixed Margin** ($1.08)**

 

*Supply Index: - The supply base fluctuates daily or weekly according to AmeriGas’s proprietary blended supply index formula.

 

**The Fixed Margin: - The margin or "markup", in KHF's case $1.08 per gallon, stays the same for the duration of the contract year (10/1/2026 to 09/30/2027).

 

As the supply index prices rise or fall, your price adjusts accordingly.
