The current condition of the pond dock necessitates its closing for safety and liability reasons. The removal of the dock is scheduled for the week of August 10th, weather permitting.
The board will be holding community meetings in September seeking input on whether to replace the dock or keep the pond in a more natural state. If the community decides a dock replacement is desired, the board will form a Pond Improvement Committee to move that project forward. As this will be a community decision, homeowners are encouraged to send their thoughts and concerns to the board and to participate in the upcoming information-sharing sessions.
