Winter Storm Alert for Saturday, January 18th

As per READYCHESCO a weather alert has been issued for Chester County.
What to Expect: 
  • Anticipated Timing: Precipitation is predicted to start sometime Saturday morning into the afternoon across the area, likely ending by Saturday night in most places.
  • Snow may mix with sleet and/or rain by late afternoon or evening, which may preclude higher totals from occurring.
  • Precipitation: 1-3” of snow mixed with sleet or rain within most of Chester County. Exact amounts are highly dependent and subject to change.
  • Slippery road conditions and some accumulation where surfaces are untreated is expected to occur. However, due to warming surface temperatures with time, significant impacts are not expected at this time. 
Plan for KHF Community:
  • The storm is being closely monitored as it develops.
  • Updates will be sent to the community if it is determined that our snow contractor, TriCounty, will be required to address snow and ice conditions.
