Pool Opener and Closer Volunteers Needed

Saturday, May 28th through Sunday, September 11th.
Volunteer Openers and Closers are needed for the season.
The Pool Manager will open and close the first week - May 28th thru June 4th. If you can open, close, or do both, for one or more of the remaining 14 weeks please email or call the cell phone number of the the Pool Manager provided in the E-blast sent May 4th. Pool weeks run from Sunday through Saturday with exception of the last week which will run from Sunday, September 4th through Sunday, September 11th.
The duties surrounding the Opening and Closing positions are simple:
- "The Openers", will for one week each, unlock the two pool gates and open the kitchen door and the two-bathroom doors, every morning by 8 AM. It will also be required for the pool openers to do daily water testing. You will be trained on how to perform this task.
- "The Closers", for one week, will close and lock the two pool gates, the kitchen door and the two-bathroom doors, sometime around sunset. and make sure umbrellas are closed and secured.
The Pool Manager is available to hold refresher training on where things are located and water testing for those who may require it. If you are volunteering and feel training would be beneficial, you can meet at either opening or closing times during the first pool week or contact the Pool Manager for a time convenient for you. The session should not last more than 15 minutes.
A successful pool season can only happen for the KHF community with the dedicated help of volunteers.
