March Snow Blast – Alert #1
Posted on Mar 12th, 2022
Per ReadyChesco and the National Weather Service the Chester County area and our immediate area is under a high Winter Weather Advisory. Saturday morning updates now confirm that it is highly probable the area will receive 3-6 inches of heavy wet snow. Snow is predicted to be heaviest into early – mid afternoon followed by gusty winds and plunging temperatures.
TriCounty is on alert and will mobilize the plowing crew following the completion of the storm. A cautious approach to the storm is highly recommended for the KHF community. We request that the following storm preparations begin:
- Remove all cars from the street to avoid any damage to vehicles and permit township plows to clear streets as necessary. It is possible that Honey Brook Township will plow streets throughout the day.
- Remove vehicles from residential driveways and park either on parking pads throughout the community or place your vehicle at the clubhouse parking lot to the far right of the parking lot.
- If snow removal occurs after dark, please keep all outside lights on at the garage door and front door to assist the crew and help with visibility.
- If you are at home when the crew approaches to plow driveways, please partially raise your garage door.
We will continue to monitor the snow closely as it develops to keep you informed on the plan to commence snow removal. Assuming >3 inches, plowing will commence once the snow has ended and an additional eBlast will be sent to residents. Stay Tuned !
